How Can Blogging Improve Student Learning?

What impact can blogging make on your students? Karl Fisch of Arapahoe High School interviewed several students and teachers about the impact blogging has made on their learning and teaching and edited their comments into an enlightening 15-minute video.

I haven’t yet made blogging a regular part of my teaching except for a classroom blog I maintain for listing homework, but for the past few months I’ve been toying with the idea of having students blog.  After seeing this video I’m definitely going to figure out a way to work it in next year:

    I’m glad you found the video useful. We’re still figuring out the best ways to blog with students and I think we’ll make some additional progress this year, but ya gotta start somewhere! Good luck with your efforts.
