I don't yet have the confidence in my classroom management skills to turn over the "ring"/power, but the wear and tear of holding onto it is forcing me to let go! ;-) I sincerely hope that as I mature as a teacher, not only will I be better at relinquishing my grasp but that I will encourage students to take the ring-- I suspect that's where the "magic" happens...
