Ann: Thanks for the encouraging words. I've spent the past two months wondering if I should continue blogging at all, as it takes energy and attention away from my family and my teaching. Your comment helped me to decide to keep at it.

I think there is a TREMENDOUS need for a site like this, and I am glad to see it! It may take a while for you to see a huge readership, but as the word gets out, I think many Catholic school teachers will be grateful for and will use your site. I have been teaching in a Catholic school for 8 years now and am ALWAYS searching for new resources to help teach religion and reach teens. I was so excited to find your site through another of your blogs. Keep going!!:)

I love Pray As You Go. I use it during my commute to or from work. Do you see it as a resource for just high school kids, or for younger ones as well?
What I would love is something that couples the readings with an understanding of the context, or the importance of the passage in the Catholic faith. (It is used to defend purgatory, priesthood, the Trinity . . .)

Hello, I have been searching google for a Catholic School Teacher's Blog. This was an assignment I was just given in my Masters Program. I have never blogged before, so I thought I might try a Catholic Site since I teach 4th grade in a Catholic School and I am also a lifetime Catholic. Your prayer from Thomas Merton caught my eye. I have heard this wonderful prayer before. Thanks for grabbing my attention. I think I have finally found the blog I've been looking for.

Thank you for the kind words, Denise. If it weren't for people like you who support Catholic education, there would be no Catholic schools. I'm glad Merton's prayer came along at the right time for you.
